KNT100V Power Supply Protection Unit for FOX devices

Vehicles normally use low voltage batteries (12 VDC and 24 VDC) to power the starter motor, the lights, and the ignition system of a vehicle’s engine. In the automotive applications especially in trucks, voltage spikes in the power supply can reach 100 volt. The KNT100V protects the AVL devices against such voltage spikes. The KNT100V is a 12 VDC converter for use in trucks, busses, boats, to provide reliable operation of FALCOM AVL devices even during the high voltage spikes. It allows you to safely run any AVL device from the vehicle electrical bus by regulating the input voltage to the connected AVL device to 12 VDC. The KNT100V converter has an input voltage rating from 24 VDC to 72 VDC and a fixed output voltage of 12 VDC.

Technical Specifications
